Ipswich Family YMCA Run For The Pies
The Ipswich Family YMCA Run for the Pies is scheduled for November 26, 2026, at Ipswich Town Hall on Green Street in Ipswich, Massachusetts. The event is presented as a community fundraiser; proceeds support the Ipswich Family YMCA Financial Assistance Program and local food pantries The Open Door and ACCORD Food Pantries.
The event offers two untimed courses for participants of all ages:
- 1.2 Mile
- 2.8 Mile
The course is stroller friendly and allows well-behaved dogs on leash. Timing is not recorded for participants. Prizes are awarded in the form of pies: every 10th adult finisher receives a large Russell Orchards apple pie, and each child in the fun run receives a 4" Table Talk pie. T-shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last and must be collected before the race begins.
Registration fees shown for the courses include a lower and a higher amount reflecting early and late pricing: the 1.2 mile entry is listed as $3.00 and $5.00, and the 2.8 mile entry is listed as $5.00 and $10.00. All sales are final and no refunds will be offered. Free parking is available at Ipswich Town Hall and the nearby MBTA Commuter Rail lot.
