Ipswich Family YMCA Run For The Pies
The Ipswich Family YMCA Run For The Pies takes place on November 26, 2026 at Ipswich Town Hall on Green Street in Ipswich, MA. The event offers two untimed courses and is presented as a community fundraising race tied to the Ipswich Family YMCA.
Two untimed course options are available:
- 1.2 Mile Fun Run for kids and families
- 2.8 Mile Main course for general participants
The course is stroller friendly and allows well behaved dogs on leash. Timing is not provided for the runs. Parking is available free at Ipswich Town Hall and at the nearby MBTA Commuter Rail lot. Bib and shirt pick up are offered at the Ipswich Family YMCA before the event and at the Town Hall lot on race morning; tee shirts are distributed first come first served and must be collected before the race begins. All sales are final and no refunds will be offered.
Proceeds support the Ipswich Family YMCA Financial Assistance Program and local food pantries, The Open Door and ACCORD Food Pantries. Fundraising levels are listed for participation recognition, with tiers including Starting Line, Gravy, Whole Pie, and Turkey. Finish line prizes include large Russell Orchards apple pies awarded to every tenth adult finisher and 4 inch Table Talk pies for Fun Run finishers.
