Waugoshance Trail Run is a set of trail races in Emmet County, Michigan following a section of the North Country Trail between Cross Village and Mackinaw City. The courses travel primarily on single track and pass rolling bluffs overlooking Lake Michigan, coastal forests and inland wilderness lakes. The half marathon begins near Goose Pond in Wilderness State Park. The 50K route incorporates a five mile section of the Sturgeon Bay Trail.

Race logistics include bus transportation to the start points from Mackinaw City School and gear bag transport back to the finish area. A drop bag tent is available near the start and finish. Aid stations are positioned along each course; runners are required to carry a 20 ounce water bottle or similar hydration system that can be refilled at aid stations. Light aid offerings include water, electrolyte drink, bananas and oranges, and energy gels are provided at stations.
All finishers who complete their registered distance receive a commemorative finisher award. Podium awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each distance. Course wayfinding uses colored flags, directional arrows and mile markers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
