Walsh Lake Triathlon
The Walsh Lake Triathlon takes place on September 13, 2026, at Walsh Lake Park in Fort Worth, Texas. The event uses a lake swim, a looped bike course, and a measured run course within the park.
- Sprint Triathlon: 500 meter swim; 12 mile bike (2 loops); 5K run
- My First Super Sprint: 200 meter swim; 6 mile bike (1 loop); 2 mile run
The race is chip timed and timing chips are assigned by bib number; participants must pick up their chip on race morning. Athletes must be body marked before entering the transition area. Participants must bring their own bike and gear and follow USA Triathlon equipment and helmet rules.
This event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon and USAT rules will be enforced. A USAT annual membership or a single day license is required to race. The minimum age to participate is 13. Registration changes are restricted and no refunds or transfers are allowed.
Awards include top overall, masters, grand masters, age group awards three deep, weight class awards three deep for both male and female, relay team awards for the top three, and a finisher medal for all finishers.
