The WALSH Triathlon is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Lake Park at WALSH, 2401 Longspur, Fort Worth, TX 76008. The event is described as the inaugural WALSH Triathlon.
Events and format
The event program includes multiple race options and a virtual option. Distances and entry prices listed by the organizer are:
- Sprint Triathlon: 500-meter swim, 12-mile bike (2 loops), 5K run. Price: $69. Open to ages 13+.
- My First Tri Super Sprint Triathlon: 200-meter swim, 6-mile bike (1 loop), 2-mile run. Price: $59. Open to ages 11+.
- Sprint Triathlon Relay: relay format of the sprint distances. Price: $35.
- Virtual Triathlon: virtual participation option. Price: $49.
The swim takes place in Lake Park at WALSH and the bike course uses local low-traffic roads, with the sprint bike composed of two loops and the beginner bike one loop. Price increases for the in-person events occur after December 31, 2025, and for the virtual event after August 31, 2026, as noted by the organizer.
