Event overview
The Arlington Turkey Trot is scheduled for Thanksgiving morning, November 27, 2025, at Choctaw Stadium in Arlington, Texas (1000 Ballpark Way). The event offers two distances:
- 5K
- 1 mile fun run/walk
The event is presented as part of the Arlington Marathon Series and is hosted by the One Step Foundation and Arlington Marathon Inc. Proceeds support Arlington-based nonprofits through the One Step Foundation.
Registration, packet pickup and awards
Registration fees vary by date: by Sept 29 the fees are $30 for the 1 mile and $35 for the 5K; by Nov 1 they increase to $35 and $40; by Nov 26 or packet pickup they are $40 and $45; race day fees are $45 and $50. Registered participants receive a long-sleeve technical performance shirt (Men’s/Unisex fit), a custom finisher medal, a personalized race bib if registered early, chip-timed results by Cox Racing Services, and free parking. Shirt sizes are not guaranteed after November 21; youth sizes and 2XL/3XL are only guaranteed through pre-registration.
Early packet pickup is available at The Runner Shop - Arlington (3535 W Pioneer Pkwy) on Nov 25 and Nov 26. Race day packet pickup is available at Choctaw Stadium. All participants receive a custom finisher medal; 5K awards are given three deep per category for overall, masters, and age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
