Walk for Glacier View Lodge
The 3rd Annual Walk for Glacier View Lodge is scheduled for September 20, 2026 at Glacier View Lodge, 2450 Back Road, Courtenay, British Columbia, Canada. Teams and individual participants will walk 2 km on an adjacent park-like property or participate virtually from another location. The walk raises funds for music therapy programs for older adults.
The route is on undeveloped land next to Glacier View Lodge and offers views of the Comox Glacier and nearby mountains; the setting also highlights potential seniors housing opportunities in the Comox Valley. The meeting point is the gazebo beside the tower and parking lot at Glacier View Lodge. Registration is free.
Organizers encourage carpooling, cycling, or walking to the site. Parking attendants will direct vehicles to the Marsland Drive driveway next to the main driveway, and volunteers will assist; a short asphalt path leads up to the lodge. After the walk, there is a garden tour and live music by a local guitarist and singer, with light refreshments served on the outdoor patio.
