CVRR Nautical Days 4 Miler Foot Race
The CVRR Nautical Days 4 Mile Foot Race is in its 56th running and takes place in Comox on August 3, 2026, during BC Day. The course covers 4 miles (6.4 km) through downtown Comox and nearby streets.
The route follows rolling streets with views of the Salish Sea and the Beaufort Mountain Range. A section on Butchers Road runs between stands of Douglas fir, pine and other native species, creating a wooded feel. The finish follows a gentle downhill grade.
Registration is online only and closes on August 2. Bib pickup is scheduled for Sunday, August 2 at race central at the corner of Comox Avenue and Port Augusta. Post-race food and water are provided in the finish area at the same location.
Awards include overall top male and female and ribbons for first, second and third places by age category. Registered participants are eligible for various draw prizes; winners must be present.
Safety and event rules: roads remain open to traffic, with signage and marshals at major intersections. The race is at participants' own risk and marshals do not stop traffic. Headphones, earbuds and other listening devices are prohibited and may result in disqualification. Dogs, strollers and walkers are not permitted on the course.
