About the race
Mind Over Mountain Adventure Race (MOMAR) takes place in Cumberland, British Columbia, on Vancouver Island. The weekend event invites up to 1,000 racers to choose among three formats: the new Quest 20K, a paddle-and-trek-only course for two-person teams; the 30K Sport course; and the 50K Enduro course, pairing paddling, trekking, and mountain biking. Competitors navigate rugged forests, shorelines, and ocean views, with world-class single-track trails.
MOMAR emphasizes mental and physical endurance, navigation, and teamwork in a challenging and communal atmosphere. The 2025 edition marks the 45th MOMAR in its 25-year history, supported by local fundraising partners and volunteers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
