Dodge City X - Cumberland (12 September 2026)
Dodge City X is an off-road triathlon taking place at Cumberland Village Park, Royston Road, Cumberland, British Columbia on 12 September 2026. The course includes a lake swim at Comox Lake, mountain-bike sections on singletrack and a trail run, with BodyNetix transition areas.
Race formats offered include Sprint and Standard distances and several relay options: Standard Relay, Sprint Youth Relay and Sprint Relay - Just 4 Fun Family. The event is designated as the 2026 BC Cross Triathlon Championship and is a 2027 World Championship qualifier.
Registration uses block pricing and the displayed amounts include mandatory charges and processing fees. All athletes must hold a valid 2026 triathlon membership that provides race-day insurance. Triathlon BC members are covered; athletes from AB, SK, MB, NB, NS, PEI and NL are covered via reciprocating agreements. Athletes from ON and QC must purchase 1-day TriBC coverage; all other athletes must also purchase a 1-day TriBC membership before race day.
A structured volunteer program lists many roles with varying time commitments and requirements, including course flaggers, Race Central and T1 setup, lifeguards and swim marshals, aid station attendants, course marshals, first aid on course, course sweeps, de-flaggers and take-down crews. Volunteers receive lunch and a drink on event day, may be eligible for a volunteer t-shirt if registered by the cut-off date, and can enter volunteer-only prize draws.
