3rd Walk 4 Prostate Cancer : 1 Mile Walk & 5K Run/Walk
The event on September 12, 2026 in Lewes, Delaware combines a one mile walk and a 5K run/walk to benefit prostate cancer research. It is produced by Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc. and takes place at the Main Beach Parking Lot, north side, Cape Henlopen State Park.

The 5K course is described as a flat and fast out and back route within Cape Henlopen State Park. Timing is provided by the Seashore Strider team using the Chronotrack B Chip system. Awards will be given to overall male and female champions, overall masters (40+), and top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups. Awards are presented within 20 minutes after the final finisher. There are no separate awards for walkers.
Registration opens April 24, 2026 and standard online registration closes in early September. Pre-registration fees listed are $35.00 for the 5K and $30.00 for the 1 mile walk; higher fees apply during race week and on race day. Registration is available online through RunSignUp or by mail using the universal entry form; entries received by Monday, September 7 are guaranteed a t-shirt.
