Walk 4 Prostate Cancer 5K

The event benefits Prostate Cancer Research and is produced by Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc. Timing is provided using the ChronoTrack B Chip system. Finish-line production, custom printed t-shirts, custom awards, and a post-race awards presentation are part of the event amenities. Awards are presented to overall male and female champions, overall male and female masters (40+), and the top three male and female finishers in these age categories: 9 & under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. There are no separate awards for the walk.
Registration is available online through RunSignUp and by mail using the universal entry form mailed to Seashore Striders at 9 Gander Lane, Lewes, DE 19958. Pre-registration fees listed are $35.00 for the 5K and $30.00 for the 1 mile walk; fees increase during race-week and on race day. Participants registered by September 7 are guaranteed a t-shirt; later registrations receive shirts on a first-come basis.
The Seashore Striders maintain a no-refund policy with options to transfer entries to another event, donate the fee to the event charity or the youth running program, or defer entry to the following year. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
