Inaugural Sussex County Habitat for Humanity 5K Run & Competitive Walk
The event is an inaugural community race held on September 19, 2026 at Sandhill Fields, Sand Hill Road, Georgetown, DE. It offers several participation options and supports Sussex County Habitat for Humanity.

Registration fees listed for the event include a $30 fee for the 5K run and for the competitive 5K walk, and a $20 fee for the 1 mile non-competitive walk. Race shirts and post race refreshments are provided.
Timing and results are managed with chip timing using the MYLAPS BibTag system. Top finisher awards for overall and masters are scored by gun time, with all other age groups scored by chip time. Awards include top overall male and female, top masters, age group medals for the top three in each category, and medals for top walkers.
Event policies note that no dogs are allowed due to insurance liability, bibs are non transferable, and registrations are non refundable. Results will be posted online during and after the event.
