Visions and Pathways 5K and Walk
The Visions and Pathways event takes place at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, New Jersey. This annual gathering is currently in its 28th year and features several different participation formats to accommodate various interest levels and physical distances. The primary course is a 5K race that is sanctioned by USATF-NJ, allowing members of that organization to earn 500 points toward the 2025 Grand Prix competition.
Participants who prefer a shorter distance can participate in a 2 Mile Walk. For those unable to attend the physical location at the park, a Virtual Run and Walk option is available. This virtual category covers a 5K distance and includes the shipping of event materials to the registrant.
The event program also includes specific activities for children. The Kids Sprints are designed for participants between the ages of 2 and 7. During these sprints, children are grouped by age to run toward a finish line. Each child participating in the sprints receives a race bib and a finisher medal.
