The Visions and Pathways 5K & Walk takes place April 18–25, 2026 at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, NJ 08807. The event includes multiple participation options:
- 5K
- 2 Mile Walk
- Virtual Run and Walk
- Kids Sprints (ages 2 to 7)
The sanctioned 5K is part of the USATF-NJ Grand Prix and can earn USATF-NJ members 500 points in the 2026 competition. Children in the Kids Sprints are grouped by age, receive a bib and a finisher medal, and their registration is listed as $10. The event is in its 28th year.
Purpose and registration notes
The event is organized by the non-profit Visions and Pathways to raise funds and community support for teens who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness, abuse, or addiction. Services supported by the organization include food, housing, counseling, education assistance, arts and recreation activities, career and employment counseling, scholarships, and financial literacy instruction. There is an option to waive the registration fee by committing to raise $100; participants who do not meet the fundraising goal will be charged the registration fee on May 1.
