The CEA/Johanna Foods Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day community running and walking event held in Flemington, New Jersey. The 2026 edition is the 34th annual event and follows a tradition that began in 1993. The course routes pass through the historic streets of Flemington.
The event offers both in-person and virtual participation. Early Bird registration opens July 1st, 2026 for both participation options. The Turkey Trot raises awareness and funding for services that coach individuals into community integrated employment and support employment choice and career pathways for students and adults with disabilities.
Event support comes from sponsors, volunteers, runners and walkers who contribute goods, funds or services. Course maps and a starting line corral map are provided for participants. The event listing includes resources for frequently asked questions and separate maps for runner and walker routes.
