Virginia Run for Cancer
The Virginia Run for Cancer is a 24 hour running event in Hampton, VA, held at 1255 Big Bethel Road on April 24, 2027. The event offers both individual and team formats on a looped nature park trail.

The course is a flat, all dirt nature park trail measuring 3.75 miles per lap and is USATF certified (VA12075RT). Volunteer lap counters are provided. Pacers are allowed after dark and runners are advised to bring flashlights for night running.
Awards include special engraved plaques to first place male, female, team and fundraiser. Course records listed are male 135 miles, female 131 miles, and team 1052.75 miles. Wooden plaques are given to runners who complete 50, 62.5, 75, 100, or 125 miles. Technical shirts are provided to all entrants. Returning participants may qualify for 500 mile club jackets and 1000 mile buckles.
Registration opens January 1, 2027, is limited to 200 entrants, and the entry fee is $75 for individuals and team members. Team registration allows teammates to note their team and team captain during registration; the team with the highest total miles receives a Perpetuity Plaque. The event reports a lifetime total of $310,000 raised for the American Cancer Society. On-site liquid refreshments are available; runners are expected to bring their own food and hydration.
