Glowing Gobbler 5K

Glowing Gobbler 5K is an evening, glow-themed 5K held at Newport News Park in Newport News, Virginia. The 3.1-mile course starts on Clubhouse Way, travels toward the park’s Celebration In Lights, then returns to finish at the Deer Run golf course clubhouse, letting runners enjoy the light displays in both directions. The event is chip-timed and includes a glow-in-the-dark finisher medal, a race shirt, and a Celebration in Lights ticket.

Strollers are allowed, and pets are not permitted (service animals are). Parking is at Woodside High School with two nearby packet pickup/gear-check sessions. On-site awards are given to top finishers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
