About the race
Dream Nation Apparel Vancouver Island 24 Hour is an ultrarunning event held at the Cowichan Sportsplex in Duncan, BC on September 19, 2026. The event offers multiple timed track formats and a virtual option that must be completed during September 2026. Available event formats include: - 3 hour event - 6 hour event - 12 hour event - 24 hour event - Virtual event completed during September 2026 Each timed event can be entered solo or as a team of 2 to 10 people. The objective is to cover the greatest possible distance within the chosen time.
The live event has a capacity limit of 50 participants on the track at any one time. The virtual event is capped at 100 participants. The ACU 100km Canadian National Championship is part of the program and is open to ACU members only; 100km splits can be recorded on request for eligible participants. The event received IAU and ACU labels in 2024, and Canadian age group records were set and ratified in recent editions. Proceeds benefit the Victoria Hospitals Foundation, which supports equipment, projects, education, and research for local hospitals.
All participants receive event swag. Those who complete over 100 miles receive a belt buckle. Some food and refreshments will be provided; participants may set up tents and additional aid stations on the infield.
