Harriers Pioneer 8K is a road running race taking place at the Saanich Fairgrounds on Stellys Cross Road in Saanichton, British Columbia. The 2026 edition is the 46th annual running of the event and is held at its original venue. Entry, rules and other details
Online registration has early, regular and late pricing tiers: early and regular entries are listed as $40 plus processing fees, and late entries as $50 plus processing fees. Online registration closes at 12 noon on January 9. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Current club members are eligible for a discount when registering. The race is open to runners, racewalkers, walkers and wheelchair athletes only. No pets are permitted except registered guide dogs; visually impaired participants accompanied by an assisting runner or guide dog must start at the back of the field. Headphone use is discouraged; participants wearing headphones may be disqualified if they impede others or emergency operations.
