Event Information
The Saanich Physio + Bazan Bay 5K is a 5 km road race. The course runs along the oceanfront from Tulista Park, heading south for 2.5 km with a single 180-degree turnaround. The route features a very gentle incline on the way out and a gentle decline on the way back.
The event is part of a race series (it is the eighth and final race). Online registration closes at 12 noon on the Friday before the race. An online processing fee applies, and entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. The registration fee includes an admin fee but not the 5% GST.
Rules and Participation
The race is open to runners, racewalkers, walkers, and wheelchair athletes. Only registered guide dogs are permitted; pets are not allowed. The use of headphones is discouraged and can lead to disqualification if they impede another participant or race operations. Strollers, roller blades/inline skates, and bicycles are not permitted.
