Event details
The Viking 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon takes place on February 28, 2026, at Stoner Avenue Recreation Area in Shreveport, Louisiana. The event is organized by US Road Running. All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race. Parking is available at the Stoner Avenue Skate Plaza next to the soccer fields. The event includes finisher medals, a best costume recognition, series points, and awards.

Course and logistics
The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back course; the 5K completes the route once and the 10K twice. The half marathon uses an out-and-back course repeated four times.
