4 On Fern
The 4 On Fern takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana. The event is centered at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue, with the course starting and finishing behind the venue.
The event is a 4‑mile road race. The course begins on the sidewalk behind Sportspectrum and runs through the South Highlands neighborhood. The course is described as flat.
Registration fees are tiered by date: $25 through March 15, $30 from March 16 to April 10, and $40 on race day. Packet pick up is at Sportspectrum on Thursday, April 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Friday, April 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; packet pick up is also available on race day morning.
Participants may decline a race shirt to receive a $5 reduction in the registration fee. Overall awards include a $100 gift card for first place male and female and a $50 gift card for second place male and female. Age group awards are offered in the following divisions: 18 and under, 19–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, and 70 plus.
No bicycles, skate devices, or dogs are permitted on the course. Baby joggers are allowed but must start in the back.
The refund policy grants a full refund for cancellations more than 30 days before the event, a 50 percent refund for cancellations between 30 days and two weeks before the event, and no refunds within two weeks.
