Cypress Easter Run 5k / 10k
The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Cypress Baptist Church, 4701 Palmetto Road, Benton, LA 71006. It includes several race options and community-oriented event elements.

All proceeds benefit the Cypress Spain Mission Team. Every pre-registered participant will receive an official 2026 "Easter Run" race shirt; registration by midnight on March 20 guarantees a shirt. Packets will be available for pick up at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport, on Thursday, April 2 and Friday, April 3. Race day registration and packet pickup are available at Cypress Baptist Church on Saturday.
Entry fees vary by event and registration date. Fee tiers listed by the organizer include lower prices through March 20, higher prices from March 21 through April 3, and higher race day fees. The Sleep-in Supporter option is offered with a fee of $25 through April 3.
Awards are given to the overall male and female in both the 5k and 10k, with an award and a $50 gift card to Sportspectrum; first and second place finishers in each age group also receive awards. Age groups start at 13 and under, then 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Post-race refreshments and an awards ceremony are provided.
