US Road Running - Raleigh
The US Road Running event at Green Hills County Park in Raleigh, North Carolina, offers two road running distances on a concrete surface. Participants can choose between a 5K and a Half Marathon. The course for both events is designed as an out-and-back route.
For the 5K distance, runners complete a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop twice. Participants in the Half Marathon complete a 2.18-mile out-and-back loop six times to reach the total distance. There is a course time limit of 3:00 hours for all participants.
Logistics and facilities at Green Hills County Park include:
- The park gate opens at 8:00 AM.
- Parking is available at the playground on the north side of the park.
- Restrooms are located near the playground area.
- Packet pickup is conducted on-site starting 30 minutes before the event begins.
All participants must register online in advance, as there is no registration available at the park on the day of the event. All finishers receive a medal.
