National Trails Day 5K at E. Carroll Joyner Park

The Recreation Advisory Board will host a family-friendly timed walk/run in Wake Forest on June 6, 2026. The event raises funds to support maintenance of existing greenways and the development of new greenways across Wake Forest. It is open to children and adults and is organized as a timed walk/run.

The event takes place at E. Carroll Joyner Park, 701 Harris Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587. Strollers are permitted but will be placed at the back of the pack to allow runners a clear start. Registrations will be accepted on the day of the event. Everyone who registers before May 8 will receive a race T-shirt.
