Event overview

The Recreation Advisory Board will host a family-friendly timed walk/run on Saturday, June 6, 2026. The event raises funds to support maintenance of existing greenways and the development of new greenways throughout Wake Forest. The event is open to children and adults. Strollers are allowed but will be placed at the back of the pack to allow runners a clear start. Registrations will be accepted on the day of the event. Everyone who registers before May 8 will receive a race T-shirt. Course maps are provided for the event.

Registration opens February 5, 2026 at 12:00am EST. Entry fees listed in the event information are $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 3K. The event location is E.
