Event Overview
The Luau 5K & 13.1 is a road running event held at Green Hills County Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. The event takes place on a concrete course and features a selection of distances for registered participants. All participants must register in advance through the online platform as there is no registration available on the day of the event.
The park gates open one hour before the start, and parking is designated near the playground area on the north side of the park. Facilities including bathrooms are also located near the playground for participant convenience.
Distances
Participants can choose from the following out-and-back course options:
- 5K: This distance involves completing the out-and-back course two times.
- Half Marathon: This distance involves completing a separate out-and-back loop six times.
Course Details
The course follows a repetitive loop format on a hard surface. There is a total course time limit of 3 hours for the event. Finisher medals are awarded to those who complete their respective races. Additionally, the event features a costume contest, and participants are encouraged to take part in the best costume competition.
