Event overview
Medal Madness 5K & 10K takes place on March 14, 2026, at Green Hills County Park in Raleigh, NC. The event includes two distance options.

Course and logistics
The course is an out-and-back laid on concrete. The 5K completes the out-and-back twice and the 10K completes it four times. The event has a two-hour time limit for both distances. The park gate opens at 8:00 am. Parking is located at the playground on the north side of the park. Bathrooms are located by the playground.
Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration.
Awards and other information
All finishers receive a themed medal. A best costume prize is presented at the beginning of each race, and a group photo is taken at the start. The race awards points toward the US Road Running Race Series and follows that series' awards and FAQ information. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
