Pirate 5K & 10K at Green Hills County Park, Raleigh
The event offers two distances run on a concrete out-and-back course at Green Hills County Park in Raleigh, NC. The course layout repeats laps: the 5K completes the segment two times and the 10K completes it four times. Both distances have a two hour time limit.
Parking and restroom facilities are available near the playground on the north side of the park. The park gate opens before the event to allow access. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration.
All finishers receive a themed medal. Runners are encouraged to wear costumes; a group photo is taken at the start of each race and a best costume award is given at that time. The race awards series points toward the US Road Running Race Series and follows the series awards and FAQ information.
