Event overview

The Pirate 5K & 10K takes place on April 11, 2026 at Green Hills County Park in Raleigh, NC (9300 Deponie Dr, 27614). The event offers two race distances:

10K

All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Finishers receive a themed medal. The race is part of the US Road Running Race Series and earns series points. A group photo is taken at the start of each race and a best costume award is given at that time.

Course and logistics

The course is concrete and configured as an out-and-back. The 5K completes the course two times and the 10K completes the course four times. Both distances are limited to a 2:00 hour finish time. Parking is located at the playground on the north side of the park. Bathrooms are located by the playground. Packet pickup is available before the race.
