Event overview

The North Carolina Spring Classic & SpringsFest takes place Saturday, April 11, 2026 in Holly Springs, NC, with start and finish on Main St. in front of Pace Yourself Run Company. The event offers three distances:

  • 5k
  • 8k
  • 16k

The event is limited to 500 participants. The race is timed by Run The East, LLC. SpringsFest follows the race in downtown Holly Springs with vendors, food trucks and entertainment.

Course and logistics

The 8k measures just over 5 miles. The 16k includes a soft, compact mulch trail around Bass Lake from about mile 5.75 to mile 7.75. Aid stations:

  • 5k: one aid station at Womble Park (approx mile 1.5) with water.
  • 8k: three aid stations, including School Days Lane (visited twice) and Womble Park; water provided.
  • 16k: four aid stations, including School Days Lane (visited twice), Womble Park and Bass Lake; water at all stations and water plus Skratch at Bass Lake.

Bathrooms are located at the start (portable toilets behind the car wash on Main St.), Jones Park, Veteran's Park, Womble Park and Bass Lake. Bag drop is outside Pace Yourself; participants must bring their own bag. Strollers are allowed but should line up toward the rear; dogs are not allowed.

Packet pickup:

  • Thursday, 4/09, 5-8pm at Pace Yourself Run Co.
  • Friday, 4/10, 4-7pm at Pace Yourself Run Co. Race day pickup is available for pre-registered participants for an additional fee.

Registration closes April 10, 2026 at 11:59pm. Bib transfers and event distance changes must be completed by April 8, 2026 at 11:59pm. Shirt deadline is March 30, 2026. Awards are given to male and female overall winners and age-group winners in standard age categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
