US Road Running - North Raleigh

Event details
The Viking 5K & 10K takes place on February 14, 2026, at Green Hills County Park in Raleigh, NC (9300 Deponie Dr, 27614). The event offers two distances:
- 5K
- 10K
All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration.
Course and logistics
Both races use a concrete, out-and-back course. The 5K runs the course two times and the 10K runs it four times. Each race has a maximum time limit of 2:00 hours. Parking and bathrooms are located by the playground on the north side of the park.
Awards and series
All finishers receive a themed finisher medal. A best costume award is given at the beginning of each race and a group photo is taken at the start. This event earns points toward the US Road Running Race Series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
