Event overview

The Viking 5K & 10K takes place on February 14, 2026 at Green Hills County Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. The park address is 9300 Deponie Dr, Raleigh, NC 27614. The event offers two race distances:

All participants must register in advance on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. The races have a maximum time limit of 2:00 hours.

Course and logistics

Both races use a concrete out-and-back course. The 5K completes the course two times and the 10K completes the course four times. Parking is located at the playground on the north side of the park. Bathrooms are located by the playground. The park gate opens before the event.

Awards and other details

All finishers receive a themed finisher medal. A best costume award is given; a group photo is taken at the start of each race and the best costume is announced at that time.
