Event Overview
The Medal Madness event in Homestead, Florida, takes place at Homestead Air Reserve Park. This athletic gathering offers three distinct distances on a paved surface. Participants must register in advance through the online platform, as there is no registration available at the event site on the day of the race. Facilities, including bathrooms, are located at the front of the park's parking lot.
Course Details
The event features out-and-back routes designed for different endurance levels. All participants must complete their selected distance within a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
- 5K: A single out-and-back loop totaling 5 km.
- 10K: Two laps of the out-and-back course totaling 10 km.
- Half Marathon: Four laps of the designated out-and-back course totaling 21.1 km.
Participation and Awards
All finishers receive a medal upon completion of their race. While not mandatory, participants have the option to wear costumes, with an award presented for the best costume at the event.
