Hera Cares 5K: Tropical Park, Miami (September 19, 2026)
The Hera Cares 5K is a timed community run and family day held at Tropical Park in Miami. The event combines a 5K run/walk with family-friendly games, awards, and participant medals. It brings together runners, walkers and families for a morning of outdoor activity linked to charitable work.
Hera Cares is the social impact initiative of Hera Lending. For every loan closed, the company dedicates $150 of proceeds to support aid, educational programs and community empowerment. That commitment is supplemented by employee contributions and community partnerships to fund local and regional assistance.
The event’s charitable support includes provision of food, clothing, hygiene products and school supplies to vulnerable families. It also supports Hermanos de la Calle in Miami, which assists people experiencing houselessness, and Casa Hogar San José in Venezuela, which provides shelter, care and education to vulnerable children and older adults.
Event features include race timing, awards for the top three male and female finishers and top three age group male and female finishers, and an official finisher medal for all participants.
