US Road Running - Homestead

General Information
The US Road Running event in Homestead takes place at the Homestead Air Reserve Park. This paved course hosts multiple distances on a single day, including a 5K, a 10K, and a Half Marathon. All participants are required to register through the online portal, as there is no option for registration at the event site. Accessible facilities, including bathrooms, are situated at the front of the parking area.
Course Details
The races are conducted on paved surfaces following an out-and-back format. Each distance follows a specific number of repetitions on the designated routes:
- 5K: One out-and-back loop totaling 3.11 miles.
- 10K: Two out-and-back loops.
- Half Marathon: Four out-and-back loops on a 3.28-mile course.
Race Participation
Participants have a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete their respective distances. Packet pickup is scheduled at the venue shortly before the event begins. Every runner who completes their race receives a finisher medal. While not required, the event encourages theme participation through a best costume award presented at the start of the race.
