Event Overview
The US Road Running - Historic Downtown Ocala event takes place at the Baseline Road Trailhead in Ocala, Florida. This athletic gathering features a selection of paved out-and-back courses designed for various endurance levels. All participants must register via RunSignup prior to the event, as no on-site registration is available. Facilities including bathrooms are located near the playground at the trailhead.
The event offers three distinct distances:
- 5K: A single out-and-back loop totaling 3.11 miles.
- 10K: Two completions of the 3.11-mile out-and-back course.
- Half Marathon: Four completions of a 3.28-mile out-and-back course.
Course Details and Regulations
The entire race is conducted on a paved surface. There is a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances. Participants can collect their packets starting 30 minutes before the event begins, with pickup closing 10 minutes prior to the start. Finisher medals are awarded to those who complete their respective courses. Additionally, participants have the opportunity to participate in a best costume competition.
