Kimberly's Center 5K Run/Walk
This is an annual fundraising event supporting Kimberly's Center, which serves children in Marion County who have experienced abuse and neglect. The center assists approximately 1,300 children each year.
The event takes place in the Calesa Township community, starting at Ina A. Colen Academy. Participants must use the entrance off SW 38 Street to access the race site.
The first 500 registered participants are guaranteed a T-shirt or tank top, and the first 800 will receive a challenge medal. An award is given for the largest group of registered participants.
Registration costs vary:
- Early registration: $30 (until February 15, 2026)
- Regular registration: $35 (February 16 - April 10, 2026)
- Late registration: $40 (April 11 - April 24, 2026)
- Day-of registration: $45
- Children 10 and under: $10 (includes a shirt if registered on time)
There will be tentative packet pickup opportunities on April 21, 2026, at Calesa Township and on April 23, 2026, at the Ocala Police Department. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
