The Mother's Day 5K Run / Walk takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Ocala, Florida. The event is the 5th annual running of the race. The course starts downtown, goes through the Ocala Historic District, and finishes in Citizens Circle. The stated race location is 151 SE Osceola Ave, Ocala, FL 34471. Registered participants receive a soft race T-shirt and a race medal; the first 275 sign-ups receive the current year’s medal and later registrants receive medals from previous events. Every mother at the event receives a flower, and each participant receives one raffle ticket for prize drawings (winners must be present).
Logistics and awards
Packet pick-up is held the Friday before the race at Running Elements, 29 NE 1st Ave Suite E, Ocala, with a posted pickup window. On-site registration and packet pick-up begin on race morning. Awards include standard age group awards plus additional awards for Top Mother and Top Grandmother. The event policy does not allow dogs on the course; well-behaved leashed pets may spectate from the sidelines and registered service animals are permitted under applicable laws. Registration fees are tiered by date, with listed price levels for periods through March 31, April, May 1 until the day before the event, and race day registration. Processing fees and taxes apply.
