The Mother's Day 5K Run / Walk takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Ocala, Florida. The course starts in downtown Ocala, passes through the Ocala Historic District, and finishes in Citizens Circle. The event includes post-race music, raffle drawings, and a Mother’s Day celebration in Citizens Circle.
What participants receive and awards
Registered participants receive a soft race T-shirt and a race medal. The first 275 sign-ups receive the current year’s Mother’s Day 5K medal; additional participants receive medals from previous events. Every mother attending receives a flower. Each registrant receives one raffle ticket for prize drawings; winners must be present to claim raffle prizes. Awards include standard age-group prizes plus additional awards for Top Mother and Top Grandmother.
Registration, packet pick-up and policies
Registration fees are tiered: $35 through March 31, $40 April 1 to April 30, $45 May 1 until the day before the event, and $50 for race day registration. Processing fees and taxes apply. Packet pick-up is available on the Friday before the race at Running Elements, 29 NE 1st Ave Suite E, Ocala, FL 34470; on-site registration and packet pick-up are available on race morning. Dogs are not permitted on the race course; leashed spectator pets and registered service animals are allowed under stated conditions.
