Event information
The Viking 5K & 10K takes place on February 28, 2026, at Adair Park in Knoxville, TN (1807 Adair Dr, 37918). The event includes two distances:
- 5K - two out-and-back laps (1.56 miles each)
- 10K - four out-and-back laps (1.56 miles each)
All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race. The start line is next to the Knoxville Parks & Recreation building. The event has a course time limit of 2 hours.

The course is an out-and-back route using a 1.56-mile out-and-back segment; the 5K repeats that segment twice and the 10K four times.
