ORCMA Spring Classic 5K & Fun Run : April 18, 2026
The Oak Ridge Civic Music Association is holding a fundraiser at A.K. Bissell Park in Oak Ridge, TN (1403 Oak Ridge Turnpike) on April 18, 2026. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Fun Run Mile
Course and event details
The 5K course consists of three 1.1 mile loops (slightly over 3.2 miles) on crushed limestone and paved pathways in and around Bissell Park. The Fun Run is one loop. Parking is available at the Civic Center next to the park or at the public library. Restrooms are located inside the Civic Center and portables are available outside.
Registration requires an entry fee and there are no bib transfers or refunds. Bib pickup is scheduled on race morning at Bissell Park. All participants receive a custom race shirt while supplies last and a swag bag; medals are provided for top finishers. Refreshments before and after the event include coffee from Calamity's Coffee, hot cocoa, and donuts from Donut Palace.
Awards will be given to the overall 1st place male and female in the 5K, the top three male and female finishers in each age group (18-under, 19-39, 40+), and for best costume in both the 5K and Fun Run. Results will be posted on the event page after the final runners finish. In case of inclement weather, updates will be posted on the registration page and participants will be notified.
