Race Information
US Road Running organizes this event at Holston River Park in Knoxville, Tennessee. The race is part of the US Road Running Race Series, allowing participants to earn points throughout the season. All participants must register online in advance, as there is no registration available at the event site. Packet pickup occurs at the venue shortly before the event begins, with the starting line located near Shelter #1.
Course Details
The event features out-and-back routes on paved surfaces. Depending on the chosen distance, runners will complete a specific number of laps on these courses. There is a total time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants to complete their respective distances.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K: An out-and-back course completed twice.
- 10K: An out-and-back course completed four times.
- Half Marathon: An out-and-back course completed six times.
Participation and Awards
Finishers in all categories receive a themed medal upon completion of their race. While not a requirement for participation, the event encourages runners to wear costumes, and a best costume award is recognized at the beginning of the race.
