US Road Running - East Knoxville
The US Road Running - East Knoxville event features multiple out-and-back races held at Holston River Park. Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
The 5K and 10K courses utilize a 0.78-mile route that creates a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop. Runners in the 5K complete this loop twice, while 10K participants complete it four times. The Half Marathon follows a different 1.09-mile route, resulting in a 2.18-mile out-and-back loop that must be completed six times.
The starting line for all events is located near Shelter #1. There is a general course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants. All runners receive a finisher medal after completing their respective distances.
Registration must be completed in advance through RunSignup, as there is no on-site registration available on the day of the event. Packet pickup is conducted at the race location, starting 30 minutes before the event begins and concluding 10 minutes prior to the start.
