Event details
The Medal Madness races take place on March 21, 2026, at Holston River Park in Knoxville, TN (3300 Holston Hills Road, 37914). The event includes multiple distances and is organized by US Road Running. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race starts. The starting line is near Shelter #1. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.

The 5K and 10K use a 0.78 mile segment configured as an out-and-back of 1.56 miles; the 5K completes that out-and-back twice and the 10K completes it four times. The Half Marathon uses a 1.09 mile segment configured as an out-and-back of 2.18 miles and repeats that out-and-back six times. Finisher medals are provided.
