Event details
The Medal Madness event takes place on January 17, 2026, at Holston River Park in Knoxville, TN (3300 Holston Hills Road, 37914). The event offers the following race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race.
Course and logistics
The starting line is near Shelter #1. Course formats and repeats are described by the organizer:
- The 5K and 10K use a course segment listed as 0.78 miles. The segment is an out-and-back of 1.56 miles; the 5K completes that out-and-back two times and the 10K completes it four times.
- The Half Marathon uses a course segment listed as 1.09 miles. The segment is an out-and-back of 2.18 miles; the Half Marathon completes that out-and-back six times.
