US Road Running Haunted Event in Deer Park
The US Road Running event in Deer Park, Texas, features multiple distance options held at a central local park. This race is part of the US Road Running Race Series and is open to participants without a club membership requirement. The event takes place at the large pavilion, which serves as the hub for pre-race activities and the starting point for all runners.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K: An out-and-back course completed two times.
- 10K: An out-and-back course completed four times.
- Half Marathon: An out-and-back course (13.1 miles) completed six times.
The 5K and 10K routes utilize a 0.78-mile out-and-back setup, while the Half Marathon uses a 1.09-mile out-and-back course. Registration must be completed through RunSignup prior to the event, as there is no option for on-site registration. All finishers receive a themed medal for their participation.
A costume contest is held at the start of the event, and participants are encouraged to wear costumes. A group photo is taken before the race begins. There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances. Packet pickup is available at the race location beginning 30 minutes before the scheduled start.
