The Day of the Dead Half Marathon - Houston is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Kingdom Builders Center, 6011 W Orem Dr, Houston, TX 77085. - Half Marathon - 13.1 miles, chip timed, overall trophies and age-group awards.
- Volunteer then Run - includes a chip-timed bib, shirt, and finisher medal.
- Virtual Run - remote participation option.
Standard awards for timed events include 1st overall male and female trophies, masters recognition pins for age 40+, and age-group pins from 10 and under through 70+. Youth pricing is offered for the 5K and Quarter Marathon for ages 12 and under. Race maps are available for the 5K, Quarter, and Half Marathon courses.
Logistics and course
Packet pickup is offered starting 1.5 hours before the event start. The course may use paved trails, crushed granite, and occasional dirt paths. Aid stations will provide water on course.
