Ninja 5K & 10K in Hollywood, FL
This event features both a 5K and a 10K held at a park located at 9501 Sheridan St in Hollywood, Florida. The start area is next to Cricket Field 2, just off the parking lot and across from the baseball fields. The park charges a parking fee of $3.00 per car; the parking fee is not included with registration.
The course is built from a 0.78 mile segment shown on the course map. The out and back version of that segment measures 1.56 miles. Runners complete repeated out and back laps to achieve race distances.
- 5K - two repetitions of the 1.56 mile out and back
- 10K - four repetitions of the 1.56 mile out and back
Registration is handled online through RunSignup and there is no on-site registration. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $30.00 for the 5K and $45.00 for the 10K. The event enforces a course time limit of two hours. The organizer provides finisher medals, apparel and gear options, awards, and a best costume recognition as part of the event program.
