About the race
The Back To School 5K / 10K is an out-and-back run and walk along A1A that starts and finishes near 1100 Seabreeze Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316. The event is non-scored and provides a visible finish line with a clock at the end.
Distances offered:
- 5K (3.1 miles) $25 registration fee
- 10K $30 registration fee
Registration opens September 2, 2025 and closes August 21, 2026. Packet pick up and store registration are available at Runners Depot Davie and Runners Depot Fort Lauderdale beginning Saturday, August 15 and continuing through Friday, August 21; store registration closes at noon on Friday, August 21. On race day there is packet pick up and registration from 6 AM to 7 AM.
Each participant receives a club T-shirt, a finisher medal, and a signature bib. The course layout is described as an out-and-back along A1A and the event format is explicitly non-scored. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
