US Road Running Event in Concord
This running event takes place at Frank Liske Park in Concord, North Carolina. The staging area is located at the Dogwood Shelter. The course features a paved path with a small section consisting of gravel and dirt. Participants run through a shaded environment with bathroom facilities located in the corner of the parking lot near the entrance.
The event offers three distinct distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
The 5K and 10K participants utilize a 3.11-mile out-and-back course. The 5K runners complete this loop one time, while the 10K runners complete it twice. The Half Marathon is held on a 3.28-mile out-and-back course that participants must complete four times to reach the total distance.
A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all participants. Registration must be completed online prior to the event, as there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is available at the race location starting 30 minutes before the event begins. All finishers receive a medal, and participants have the option to compete for a best costume award.
