One in 5K & Fun Run
One in 5K & Fun Run is a community event held at Salisbury Community Park, 935 Hurley School Road, Salisbury, NC 28147. The event includes a 5K and a Fun Run organized under the Family Crisis Council One in 5K and Family Crisis Council Fun Run events. Registration opens February 1, 2026. The listed entry fees are $25 for the 5K and $10 for the Fun Run; the 5K fee increases to $30 for on-site registration.
Purpose, awards and services
Proceeds support Family Crisis Council of Rowan, Inc. The council provides services in Rowan County such as emergency shelter, hospital accompaniment, court advocacy, case management and counseling for victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, incest and human trafficking. Awards for the 5K include top three overall male and female finishers and top three in each age group. Fun Run participants ages 12 and under receive participation medals. Age groups are specified from 11 & under up to 70 & over. T-shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registered participants. Timing and scoring are provided by Salisbury Rowan Runners.
