About the Event
The One in 5K & Fun Run takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Salisbury Community Park on Hurley School Road in Salisbury, North Carolina. The event includes two separate activities.

- Family Crisis Council Fun Run
The entire event is organized to benefit the Family Crisis Council of Rowan, Inc. Its primary goal is to raise funds and awareness for the organization, which works to prevent interpersonal violence and support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in Rowan County.
Participant Information
A t-shirt is guaranteed to all participants who register before the event. For the 5K, there is an awards structure for runners and walkers. The top three overall male and female finishers will receive awards, and the top three in each age group will also be recognized. Age groups span from 11 & under to 70 & over. For the Fun Run, all participants aged 12 and under receive a participation medal. The event will be timed and scored by Salisbury Rowan Runners.
