Five Points 5K
The Five Points 5K takes place in Charlotte, North Carolina, with the event hub located at Town Brewing Co at 800 Grandin Rd. This annual community event is organized by the Five Points Community Collaborative and reaches its fifth year in 2026. The gathering serves as a fundraiser to support the continuation of free community programming at Five Points Plaza.
Participants can choose from three distinct categories for the 5 km distance:
- 5K: Open to runners and walkers.
- 5K on Wheels: Specific to participants on roller skates; only four wheels are permitted, while scooters, unicycles, and bicycles are prohibited.
- 5K - Stroller: A dedicated category for those participating with strollers.
The event permits team registrations, and a group discount of 20% is automatically applied when registering three or more participants together. Registration is open to the public without specific qualification requirements. Provisions are made for packet pick-up and designated parking near the venue. While the race management reserves the right to modify or cancel the event due to unfavorable conditions, registration fees are non-refundable.
