Superheroes for Autism
Superheroes for Autism is a community running event on April 11, 2026 at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, NC. The event program includes three options: a 10K race, a 5K race, and a fun run-walk.

The 5K and 10K use chip timing for both the start and the finish so official time is recorded between crossing the starting line and the finish line. All 5K and 10K finishers receive a medal at the finish. Awards are planned for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall Male and Female, plus age-based awards for Male and Female. Age groups begin at 10 and under and extend to 70 and up, with intermediate brackets such as 11-15, 16-20, 21-25, 26-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60-69.
Packet pickup is offered at two locations: the Charlotte Running Company Promenade location on April 10 and a race day pickup at McAlpine Creek Park. The 5K course is the standard McAlpine route and includes a stroller-friendly alteration on the hill; the 10K adds the greenway to the 5K route.
