The Sarcoma Stomp
The Sarcoma Stomp is a fundraising event held in Charlotte, North Carolina on April 11, 2026. The event is presented by Amwins and serves as the signature fundraiser for The Paula Takacs Foundation for Sarcoma Research. It supports clinical trials, translational studies and other sarcoma research projects with local and global impacts.

- Virtual Stomper
The run and walk follow a course through South Charlotte and include some hills. The on-site program includes an after race festival with music, games, face painting, team tents, and food and drinks from Legion Brewing. The event has provisions for sarcoma survivors, including free registration and racing chair requests.
Funds raised are added to a competitive grant program that awards research grants to regional institutions, including Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute, Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital, Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Duke Cancer Institute and UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
