The Sarcoma Stomp : April 11, 2026
The Sarcoma Stomp is a fundraising event presented by Amwins and organized by The Paula Takacs Foundation for Sarcoma Research in Charlotte, NC. It has been held in Charlotte since 2011. The event includes an after-race party with music, food trucks, and games. The course is set in a neighborhood near Christ Lutheran Church and includes some hills.

Location, registration and beneficiaries
The in-person events are based at Christ Lutheran Church, 4519 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC 28226. Registration opens January 1, 2026. Standard price listed is $30, with price increases to $35 after early-registration thresholds for each event; reduced or free pricing is shown for young children. Sarcoma survivors can register for free and racing chair requests are noted as available.
Funds raised support a competitive grant program that awards research grants to Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute, Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital, Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Duke Cancer Institute, and UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
