Holiday Road Race in Fort Smith

The Holiday 5K, 10K, and 13.1M at Fort Smith, Arkansas, is a recurring athletic event hosted by US Road Running. The races take place at Ben Geren Regional Park and utilize out-and-back course layouts. Participants can choose between three distinct distances:

• 5K
• 10K
• Half Marathon

The 5K and 10K events follow an out-and-back route measuring 0.78 miles. Runners completing the 5K cover this course twice, while the 10K requires four laps. The Half Marathon follows a different out-and-back route of 1.09 miles, and participants must complete this circuit six times to finish the distance. All participants are subject to a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Registration must be completed online prior to the event, as there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is conducted shortly before the start. The event features finisher medals for those who complete their race. Additionally, there is a Best Costume award, though wearing a costume is not a requirement for participation.
