About the race
The Zombie Fun Run takes place on the campus of Cedarville Schools at 9500 Pirates Point in Cedarville, Arkansas on October 24, 2026. The event offers a themed run with two distance options on school grounds.

The 5K course is not an officially certified 5K. The 5K route includes two designated infected zones; the 1 mile route includes one infected zone. Participants wear a life belt with flags. Volunteers acting as zombies will attempt to remove flags by gently pulling them. Finishers who retain at least one flag are labeled Survivor; those with no flags are labeled Infected. Walking and running are both allowed.
All participants receive a medal at the finish line. Additional awards are given to the fastest male and fastest female in the 5K. Proceeds from the event support the Cedarville Basketball Program.
Registration opens September 8, 2026 and closes October 23, 2026. Registration fees are listed as twenty five dollars for the 5K and twenty dollars for the 1 mile. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
