Gore Mountain - UltraTrax
UltraTrax Gore Mountain is a single-day endurance walk on July 19, 2026 in North Creek, NY. Participants choose one of four distances and must complete their chosen distance within a 10 hour window. The event welcomes walkers, hikers, and ruckers and allows optional added weight in vests or rucks.
The course is a forest-to-summit trek on Gore Mountain with wooded slopes and broad ridge lines. The route is almost entirely shaded and follows creek-side paths, rooty woods, singletrack, ridge roads, and open ski-trail stretches that provide Adirondack views. The basic loop is 7 miles with an elevation gain listed as 1,785 ft; longer options use repeated loops and return to the base area.
Available distances:
- 7 miles
- 14 miles
- 21 miles
- 28 miles
Support on the course includes professionally timed mileage tracking, clear signage, volunteers at key intersections, and aid stations roughly every 2.5 to 3 miles offering water, electrolytes, snacks, and toilets. Participants receive a trail pack with a commemorative patch and finisher shirt; Level 3 and Level 4 participants are eligible for the Grey Wolf medal. A portion of registration proceeds supports the Conservation Lands Foundation. Registrations are non-refundable but may be transferred for a fee.
