UltraTrax Gore Mountain : event overview
UltraTrax Gore Mountain takes place on July 19, 2026, in North Creek, NY. The event is a forest-to-summit trek on Gore Mountain that uses shaded trails, creek-side paths, rooty woods, and ridge roads through hardwood and spruce forest with Adirondack valley views. The course is a 7-mile loop with about 1,785 ft of elevation gain per loop. Participants choose how many loops to complete and must finish within 10 hours to earn finisher recognition.

Each level offers the option to add weight with a vest or ruck; Level 3 and Level 4 earn the Grey Wolf medal when completed within the 10-hour window. The route is professionally timed, well marked, and supported by volunteers and aid points. The route starts near the base area, follows shaded trails alongside Roaring Brook, climbs to open ski-trail sections and ridgelines, and finishes back at the base area descending onto open slopes. Onsite amenities include base camp food and refreshments, complimentary parking, and finisher items such as a patch and a finisher shirt.
